How to get from Puerto Pollensa to Alcudia Waterpark

The Alcudia waterpark is situated in the resort of Port de Alcudia, and on this page we inform you about how to get from Puerto Pollensa to the waterpark. Alcudia Waterpark isn’t as big as the other waterparks on the island but it’s a lot easier to get to for people staying in the north of the island, in fact we would like to give you a few options on how to get there yourself from Puerto Pollensa.

Taxi from Puerto Pollensa to the waterpark:

You can also ask the hotel in Port Pollensa where you stay to phone a taxi, and it will come to pick you up. The approximate taxi fare to Alcudia water park is 14€ each way, and the journey takes about 15 minutes.

 

Public bus from Puerto Pollensa to the waterpark:

You can also take the public bus from Port de Pollensa to Port de Alcudia, and from there walk to the water park. The bus number is ROUTE 322, and you have to get off at Magic roundabout, close to the Lidl supermarket. From there you have 5 minutes walk to the water park. The bus fare is 2,70€ each way if you pay with CC and 4.50€ if you pay cash. In fact, from the roundabout you can see the water park.

By car to the waterpark:

It is about 15-20 mins journey by car from Puerto Pollensa to the water park in Alcudia. From Puerto Pollensa follow the bay road to Alcudia old town. At the church you want to be in the right hand lane to turn through the traffic lights and head down the hill passed the famous Roman ruins of Pollentia. This will take you to a roundabout, and now you are in Puerto de Alcudia. Take the second exit at this roundabout and drive to the next roundabout. This roundabout is known as the “Magic” roundabout! Here you will see Lidl and Burger King. Take the first exit and you will find the water park further down on your right hand side.

The waterpark has a car park and it is free of charge.

 

By organised excursion:

Years ago Nofrills Excursions organised a free return bus to the waterpark, but they don’t do it anymore. They still offer packages with return transport to the water parks in the south, and many other excursions, so it is worth to check their website. There is currently no company running an organised tour to the water park in Alcudia.

 

Suggestions:

• Have in mind that on Tuesday and Sunday there is market in Alcudia so buses and taxis can be busier than other days.
• It is advisable to buy the ticket online as it saves you time queueing. The waterpark has a special entrance for clients with prepaid online tickets, which are cheaper than door prices. Just click the tab “Buy Ticket” to get your water park ticket cheaper than door prices.
